Как давно вы слушали действительно что-то новое? Что-то, что современные музыкальные вивисекторы не в силах распилить на жанры и поджанры, сравнения и рефференсы? Современная независимая музыка, по большому счету, топчется на останках первопроходцев второй половины прошлого века и лишь немногие наши современники делают действительно уникальную музыку. Вот Volcano! как раз из последних. Все вроде бы предельно просто: 3 человека, бас, гитара, барабаны, но конечный продукт на столько не тривиален, что челюсть непроизвольно стремится к полу. Первый альбом заслужил самую высокую похвалу всех серьезных музыкальных изданий, второй удержал за группой звание одной из самых инновационных. Говорят что это арт–рок, авангард, прогрессив–поп и что-то там ещё, но если честно, все эти попытки классификации просто смешны.

Feindflug - Vierte Version (1999)

I suppose, technically, this album is titled "Feindflug Vierte Version," as it is the fourth version of the eponymous album by Feindflug. However, since that original album doesn't really exist as it was self-released to probably about 12 rivetheads in Leipzig, I think its safe to drop the 'Feindflug' from the title.

I've also seen this album also tagged as "Version Vier," probably for people who can count to four in German but not with ordinal numbers.

Anyway, long story short it is the full release of an album Feindflug made but never fully released in its original form. Apparently it needed four mixings and masterings for it to be worthy. Disocographically, this is their third offering (according to wikipedia). So their third album is the fourth version of their first album that never got released, so I guess that was actually their zero-th album...

All that aside, when it comes to Martial Industrial, Feindflug are the top dogs in my mind, and this album is. as they say, "highly representative of their work." Its a damned good album. Probably their best, depending on who you ask.

Strength Through Joy - The Force of Truth and Lies (1995)

Strength Through Joy, other than one of those lovely little Nazi aphorisms, is the name of the musical project Timothy Jenn and vocalist Richard Leviathan had going during the mid 90's. This album is superb, as it should be, having been produced by Douglas Pearce.

They have a smattering of other albums that are even harder to find than this one, which is their first full album. I found a place that sells some copies for only 70 pounds!

Death in June - Brown Book (1987)

This is a seminal DI6 album, and this is a vinyl rip from the original album. If you are not very familiar with Death in June, this is a pretty good place to start, unless there's an anthology out there you can find. Runes and Men is an especially good track, but the whole album is really solid.
